SYDNEY: The Home of Five Rings and 216 Great Holes.
Camden Lakeside Golf Club

Camden Lakeside is a links-style course on Sydney's south-western outskirts, about 90 minutes from Olympic headquarters. Considering its distance from the ocean, designer Peter Thomson has done a great job of creating a 'links'.

The ground is hard and each fairway is dotted with pot bunkers. Thomson's design

offers plenty of options on each hole and around each green. A devotee of keeping the ball on the ground, Thomson has made it possible to chip-and-run your way around this inland links. Of note is the 422-yard par-4 4th which has been modelled on the famous road hole 17th of the Old Course at St Andrews. It even boasts its own road hole bunker. The only thing missing is the hotel to hit your drive over.
